Make Up For Ever #92 powder blush
Holy mother of jesus this is the best purple in the WORLD.
No primer, natural light.
Super late night photo-shoot… I’m still exhausted! Four girl’s makeup in one night! I can’t wait to get the rest of the photos from the photographers!
Proper photo of the makeup I did the other day!
The way it was edited (with the darker lighting) made the lines look a bit blotchy :/ I’ll search for a better photo!
It wasn’t turning out exactly how I wanted it to, but then again I was rushed to do her whole face in 15 minutes, plus I had to remove what she already had on her face D:
MEH
OWELL.
Some pictures I took from today!
WHOA sorry for the super crappy web cam picture. I couldn’t get a good one on my camera…
I couldn’t even get a picture to show what I actually did with the makeup either -.-
Stupid
Anyways, enjoy my purple lips :D
New Years Eve Makeup Tutorial! Cut crease edition!
I love holidays and I usually go all out. They only come around a few years so I love to have fun with my makeup!
Products I used:
- Almay Intense I-Color powder shadow in Trio for Hazels. I used the top white-silver shimmery color.
- Wet N Wild Blue Had Me At Hello. I used the Matte Black.
- Mac Sea and Sky
- Silver Fog pigment by Mac
- Mac Black Track Fluidline
- Some random eyelases
- A light purple pigment ( don’t know the name of it anymore, but it’s from mac! I think it was in one of their “Stacked” collections)
- What I did:
- Primed them ‘balls, baby!
- Picked up a very dark blue color on a pencil brush and drew out my crease, extending past the edge of my eye, very carefully. I wanted it to say fairly precise since underneath that line I would be making a very obvious clean edge.
- Used my light purple with a large fluffy brush to blend the blue out to RIGHT underneath my brow bone.
- Highlighted brow with a soft whiteish silver color.
- Used Macs Fix+ to wet my shader brush and apply my silver to my lid. I packed it on and kept my line on my crease very clean!
- Pulled my silver out underneath my wing.
- Used a very small liner brush to pick up some matte black. I used the matte black to give the blue color some definition and to separate it even further from the silver.
- Drew a black line extending out from my bottom lashes, parallel with my cut crease.
- Lashes!
- Mascara!
- Very thin line on upper lid.
- Fill in waterline.
- Draw on outer corner of your lower lid with the matte black.
- Blend the matte black into the blue you used for your crease.
- Finally, blend in with the silver in your inner corner!
Make sure everything is cleaned up and you’re good to go! :)
Two new fall favorites! Review by Kayleena :)!
Essie Nail Lacquer in Chinchilly and Maybelline lipstick in Fifth Ave. Fuchsia.
Chinchilly!
The nail lacquer is great, I had heard a lot about it on tumblr and youtube so I decided to try it myself. It’s very opaque and dries fairly fast. The brush is a good size for a smooth application and the formula is very creamy. The brush picks up a LOT of product, more than any other polish I’ve seen, so you have to make sure you wipe enough off at first. That would be my only complaint :P! The color I picked, Chinchilly, is a very pretty muted grey.
I rate it a good 9/10 :)
Price: 7 bucks!
Fifth Ave. Fuchsia!
This is my first Maybelline lipstick and I’d have to say I love it! The color is so bright and vibrant and I’ll most definitely be wearing it all through fall. It’s a very true fuchsia and the color lasts for hours. It does stain your lips a bit, so watch out. :)
I rate it a 10/10
Price: 5 bucks.
