Depot your eyeshadows and make your own palette!

I just wanted to make more room for my other makeup, so I depotted eyeshadows that don’t matter to me too much. The first couple ones I did I accidentally broke (whoops!) but as I went along I got the hang of it.

What you need:

  • Candle
  • Knife/thin tool
  • Super glue
  • Magnets (optional)
  • Piece of metal (optional)
  • Cd case
  • Paper/sticks to decorate! (optional)

What to do:

  • Open up your window and put a fan in it!
  • Light your candle
  • Warm up the glue holding your eyeshadows down by holding it above the candle, move your eyeshadow in slow circles above the flame for 30 seconds to a minute
  •  Wedge your knife into the area between the metal and the plastic of your eyeshadow.
  • Pop it out!
  • Glue it into your CD case

Optional:

  • Glue a sheet of metal into the bottom of your cd case
  • Then, glue on magnets to the back of your eyeshadow pan

I’ll be decorating mine later to make them much prettier, since right now they look like crap! But they work and keep my stuff much more organized.

How To Line Your Lips (and shape them!) With Drugstore Products!

Today I was bombarded with messages from you beautiful people about lipstick stuff! ( I say bombarded in an SUPER lovingly way! :D)
So I thought I’d show you guys how I do my lips in a step by step tutorial.
You’ll only needs three things: Lipstick, lip liner, and concealer/foundation. Lip gloss is optional!

I used Glamoflauge concealer by Hard Candy, Nyx lip liner pencil in Red Hot and Revlon Lipstick in Raspberry Bite!

First what you need to do is make sure your lips are moisturized. I put on some carmex for this!

Next, gather up your concealer or foundation! Brush it all over your lips to create a perfect canvas. This look is what we call ” I eat powdered donuts all day.” Please do not leave your look at this!

Now that we have our somewhat perfect base, wait for it to dry for a bit. Then take your lip liner and start outlining where you want your lips to be! I followed my natural shape for the most part. Use small strokes to keep a straight and clean edge, you’ll be surprise when you see the lip liner doing what you want! It is pretty simple :).

Once you have your lip liner applied you can fill in the rest of your lips, or just blend it in. I just blended it using my finger and staying away from the edges!

Now all you need to do is carefully fill it in with your lipstick! Be careful when going over your lip liner edge. :)

And voila! You are done!
