I’ve never used their products due to the EXTREMELY mixed reviews that company has. I know there was a lot of drama with it, which wouldn’t bother me much if it wasn’t surrounding the business owners professional ethics. I don’t want to drop 16 bucks on a lipstick that I don’t know the quality of and not be able to return it :/

OH! Also for some of the bloggers looks Lime Crime was posting on their website to promote their products they used images from sources that didn’t even use a single LC product.

Also, I feel like all the shades are HIGHLY dupe-able for a much lesser price… From what I’ve seen. I’d rather go for indie brands like Sugarpill or OCC (or something along those lines.)

And their “magic dusts” or whatever seems to just be repackaged wholesale mica powder. I’m not a super big fan of that, don’t get me wrong they work extremely well and they are gorgeous but not for that steep of a cost!  You can buy them on websites like Coastalscents and mix your own!

So, er, I guess I don’t like Lime Crime, is what I’ve come to… xD Sorry for the long drawn out post.

They probably have some great products but I know you can get similar or better things for less!

I think that the best for you would either be Maybelline Dream Fresh or Skin 79’s bb cream. Both are very moisturizing, however Maybelline’s would need to be set with powder on your t-zone.

That’s a great idea! I haven’t looked into it much, I don’t think UD is often faked, usually the thing I do if I purchase off Amazon or eBay is RESEARCH ALL the reviews and make sure that they have thousands of ratings. I will pay a couple extra dollars for something I can feel safe purchasing!

I know that if I tried to scrach my lable off my authentic bottle, it will come off! I also know that there are certain things to look for. On your bottle of bb cream you should have a sticker near the bottom on the back of it. It’s silver and has some writing on it in both english and Korean. That’s the lable that confirms it’s authentic. Also, the top of the pump needs to be completely silver, excluding the little spout and on the inside of the packaging (the box) there should be a lot of writing!

Hrmph, the Nars one works on my redness! Maybe it’s the way you apply it? I noticed that with a brush the tinted moisturizer produces much more coverage than with fingers. OR you can just pat on some concealer in the spots that have extra redness. I do that a lot ^.^!

For makeup I’d go with simple smudged black eyeliner on your eyes with a little bit of silver in your inner corners, lots of mascara and a pale light pink for your lips! Try Revlon’s lip butter in Cupcake. :) For your nails I’d just paint them a dark purple.
