Both of your questions REALLY depend on what YOU want!

Personally what I would do is put that 25 to buy a nice lipstick, like a YSL or NARS one!  

If you’re looking for something that has a lot of uses, try these:
Benefit Full Glam Ahead ($9) 

Buxom Beach Bound Lips and Lashes (has a corally lip balm and one of my favorite mascaras!!!) ($12)

Too Faced Glam To Go Palette (blush, bronzer, lipgloss, AND eyeshadows!) ($22)

2. I love coral colors but if you just want to test one, I’d try a drugstore brand first so you aren’t wasting your money on something you don’t like! Revlon’s chubby crayon balm stains or whatever has a few coral colors and they are about 8 bucks!
However, if you do want to take the plunge, Tart Lip Surgence Pencils are extremely similar to the Revlon balm stains!
