I will prime my lips with some foundation after exfoliating and then lip liner that matches the lipstick is probably the most important thing for long lasting color! Then I layer the lipstick, blot, layer more lipstick, lightly blot and dust with a teensy bit of translucent powder if it’s a matte/cream lipstick.
